IN Between is the solo Choreography of Tirza Winkelman.
In her Solo she explores a personal story of being in a endless waiting state. Themes that are integrale to the solo are: simply being, acceptence of what is and a lost suitecase.
Being a scenographer for the piece I tried to blur the lines of reality and imagination. By layering a reflective mirror paper line on the back wall her inner state was manifested an could grow in the performance. I wanted to give the stage some dream like qualities, clouding the feeling of the show with some comforting light which where clashing with the harsh repetitive music.
